Does anyone know if there's going to be a DVD release of Gunnm?

I own a copy of Gunnm on DVD I bought off ebay. They re-dubbed the english version and the voice actress for Gally/Alita sucks big time. I only watch the Japanese version with subtitles.

People on the internet will try to sell you this anime for hundreds of dollars. But, there's a brighter side. You can go to www.discountanimedvd.com (which is very much legit) and buy an import of it for only 10 bucks. I got if for Christmas, and the pictured and sound is great. It even has a slideshow and artwork sketches and previews with it. It includes both parts to this rare anime. Also, it has eng. and jap. dub. and eng. sub. (not sure about jap. sub., though.) It is even region free. Comes in a real DVD case with the artwork on it that is shown at the beginning of this page.

yeaaaaaaah, actually its a bootleg. Its only semi-legit as it is not licensed here anymore. (also if it has the ADV cover and artwork arangement then its definatly a bootleg. Heres a hint, anything thats region-free is usually a bootleg. Quality can still be great, but still a boot. Also, if it comes from "japan" it wont have english subs and DEFINATLY wont have english dub.

I went to japan a few years ago and I can tell you that english subtitles on their domestic dvd's aren't that uncommon... one needs to learn what kanji they use for "english" but after that, it's just a matter of looking at the back of the dvd-box.

Don't know for this title though...

Last year, after looking for this OVA at a convention and being told it was OOP, I bought a legitimate, factory-sealed, domestic copy from an Amazon seller for about 30 bucks (and no, it's not a bootleg... I can spot those anywhere).

I don't understand why this is so hard to find for some people.
