Say that about his 1992 A Stranger Among Us - although even that is only sort of medium-bad. Guilty As Sin is a decent, passably suspenseful little thriller; no points for originality, but there´s nothing terribly wrong with it, either. With the possible exception of Vu Du Pont, I´m yet to see anything woefully, utterly, irredeemably godawful from Lumet.
