Not a bad movie, but I didn't quite understand the ending. *spoilers*

*spoilers*

So it turns out, the person who killed the main character (Luke's) brother was actually Luke's's trainer (Pep) all along.

The reason was supposed to be for revenge.
Pep's own brother lost a fight against the main Luke's bro, and so the Pep killed the person who defeated his brother.
What I don't understand is: If Pep had killed Luke's brother, then why did he even bother to train Luke, when he knew all along that Luke was training to fight against (and take revenge) against the person who killed his brother??
Doesn't make sense.

It just seems that the storywriters simply wanted to add a plot-twist at the end of the movie just for the sake of having one.

LOL that is a good question. I wonder the same thing. Maybe he thought Luke wouldn't find out that he killed his brother. My brother and I loved this movie though. Cheesy 80's martial art flicks is one of my guilty pleasures. Although this movie was made in the 1993 it reads like a 80's "you killed my brother so now I must kill you" movie. Gotta love the training scenes where hes trying to run with the bus.
