The scheme still makes no sense to me. So they're going to put a drug that has deadly side effects on the market? What are they going to do when people who take it start dying and people realize it's from the drug? There'll be millions of lawsuits and the whole company will go bankrupt from it.

Was it not just Nichols, Sykes and a few other Devlin and McGregor employees that were in cahoots and not Devlin and McGregor as a company? You're right the company would carry the can but Nichols and co might well be long gone by then.
