Ford's acting in this - not awful!

After watching Star Wars The Force Awakens I was reminded of Ford's limits as an actor. Mumbling and acting cranky gets tiresome real fast.

But in The Fugitive he seems to get a raw deal. Tommy Lee Jones gets all the plaudits, but Ford was actually pretty good in this. Maybe working with Jones made him step up his game instead of mumbling throughout the shoot.

You mean as opposed to Tommy Lee Jones trademark Academy Award winning bossy shouting and ordering others around while pointing his fingers about the place?
