If Sykes was so pally with the bad guys,wouldn't he have a better lifestyle? - if he was so involved with killing people & stuff considering how much money the evil company was making?
Maybe he just had bad taste.

shareMaybe he's just not flashy. If he's running security for a pharmaceutical company then he's probably making good money, but that doesn't mean he has to live in an expensive place and keep it nice and clean.
Unless Alpert's covered in bacon grease, I don't think Hugo can track anything.
um I doubt the big wigs at the pharmaceutical company would have been interested in having him do illegal thing for them if he was a man of expensive tastes. That just asking to be blackmailed down the road. "Hey remember that Doctor's wife I killed for you guy's? I'm gonna need like $20,000 to keep quiet about that."
