Help me find the title of this other movie...

So when I was a kid, I saw this one movie but I can't remember the name of it...
It's about a young girl who gets beaten up by a group of guys (I think the pushed her under water with paddles). After that, she doesn't talk anymore and cuts herself of from the world. Her parents then decide to (and this part I'm not completely sure of anymore) either go on vacation or go to some sort of therapy camp with her. Whichever it is, there she becomes friends with a group of dolphins. Somehow these dolphins almost get killed or something like that and in order to save them, she starts to talk again.
So does anybody know which movie this is? I'd be really happy if someone could tell me =)

Hi. I know it's been several years since you asked this question but it sounds like a TV show called Dolphin Cove.
