and it's still as crap as the last time I saw it. It's got a few good scenes i.e. the stomach-exploding scene and the final scenes where they escape, but overall it's very cheesy and the acting is so hammy it's unbelievable. The scene at the end when Karen is in labour is so cringe-inducing it should be a crime.
Christopher Lambert has to get the award for hamming it up the most though with that "I'm gonna kill you" look every time he's in a predicament.
I first saw Fortress years ago and when I watched it yesterday I was disappointed by how professional it was. I remembered it as one of those films, which is entertainingly bad. Still, their are worse ways to spend two hours.
I'm annoyed that Five are showing Species II next week, rather than Fortress II.

Fortress 2 was actually rubbish though. Hardly even entertaining. Still, it's still better than Species 2 - quite shocked Michael Madsen agreed to that one.
