I love this movie....

Why nobody seems to care about it?

I thought this film was quite excellent and exciting. Christopher Lambert and Loryn Locklin are sympathetic leads, Kurtwood Smith excels in one of his customary sadistic villain roles, plus there are fine supporting performances by Jeffrey Combs, Lincoln Kilpatrick, Tom Towles, and Vernon Wells. The set design and special effects were impressive as well. Moreover, the climacic jailbreak was extremely thrilling and well mounted.

I write bios, therefore I am.

It was a good movie, at least not many underrating it here, maybe they could have made it better but it's still good.

Yeah this movie is pretty awesome an underrated gem for sure.

All of you who are saying that this movie is "so bad it's good" are probably a bunch of stupid pseudointellectuals who have no personal taste in movies whatsoever and who have never seen a true "so bad it's good" movie. Fortress is a great and very entertaining futuristic prison film and that's that. 8/10 from me.

I think this movie really is a hidden gem in the world of movies. Underrated for whatever reasons. If you really like this one, Nirvana is a MUST SEE.

I know this movie is nothing great and i was about to turn it off after just 10 minutes, because it seemed dated and i wasn't interested in the plot at all. Luckily i persevered and watched it all the way through. There were moments that i laughed from the ridiculousness of the script and some of the acting.. All together it was more than i expected it to be. I gave it an extremely very generous rating of 7/10. A perfect Sunday afternoon movie if you want to see a good/bad made movie :)
