Was there any physical evidence found?

Was he even tested, did the hospital look for or find evidence of physical harm that was unnatural? I know it was 1975 so forensics were not as advanced. My guess is they didn't believe him therefore took no samples of anything on his body.

I think back then he wouldn't have even been taken seriously and I doubt a hospital would have even looked for proof.

The hospital wouldn't know what to test for, beyond obvious skin or metabolic signatures. Iirc, they said he was exhausted and dehydrated (although not as dry as he should have been, given the length of his "missing time").

Again iirc, there was nothing that Travis said about his experience that would have led anyone to think that there should have been physical traces. Nothing intrusive was done aboard the craft, and the craft did not land, blow dust around, or scorch the forest floor.

There's nothing in the story as reported that would point to any expectation of physical evidence.

Actually, fake Travis claimed he had no food for 5 days. If so, his urine would have shown raised ketone body levels, which it did not.
