Cool (if underwhelming) attempt at B version of The Running Man

It was so close to be a good B movie. So many cool elements. If only they had put in more time into the second half of the movie... Even so, still one of the better Lamas movies. I mean, he wears overalls/pants with one suspender the whole time. :) That is so ridicules it's awesome. :) Where else could you see your hero dressed like that and still keeping his dignity. :)

All jokes aside, though, the yuppie bad guy is great, detective Lewis has a mad swing, effects (the little there is) are good, the betting room is well designed (the commanding smoking nervous Asian guy is awesome). The idea of "a bigger shark" is also a good twist on the theme. And his girlfriend is hot. Lamas kicks ass with a smile. Even the location is pretty well chosen.

Could have easily been so much better.
