Not 'Brown Eyed Girl' but some other song???

So I'm showing the movie to my partner who has never seen it before, and I can't wait for him to see the Hatshop scene with Ned dancing in heels (arguably one of the best scenes ever) and imagine my surprise when it isn't "Brown Eyed Girl" playing, but some other random song! Did I get the UK version by accident? I've searched everywhere for the answer to what the neck happened, and I can't seem to find a lead.

Any answers out there? I felt incredibly disappointed as soon as I heard a different song play because "Brown Eyed Girl" just fit so well. :(

I had to pull up the scene on YouTube just to show him the original.

Why? Did they play BEG when you first saw it?
What song was playing when you watched it with your partner?
