The movie Body Heat's lead character of Ned Racine is called Ned Ravine for the spoof here.

Here are some more connections:

But it might be easier to list the ones it 'doesn't' spoof.

Also, the Sean Young fall from the 2nd floor, through the railing, is a rip-off of the very same type of fall she did in NO WAY OUT--the movie with Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman.

Lot of questionable suggestions above...

This film is from 1993

This spoofed at least:

Basic Instinct (1992)
Fatal Attraction (1987)
Cape Fear (1991)
Sleeping with the Enemy (1991)
Single White Female (1992)
Pretty Woman (1990)

Perhaps

The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992)

Not sure from what film the train scene was from? I take it that the shopping scene was from Pretty Woman, although the music was different.

"Lot of questionable suggestions above..." No. Have you seen Double Indemnity? The Postman Always Rings Twice? Carl Reiner has.

Twin Peaks - I'm sure Ravine referred to Laura as Audrey and there was a line like 'I like how you dance', referencing a memorable scene from the TV show.

There's a tiny bit in there where Kate Nelligan (Lana Revine) has a "death's head" moth in her mouth, a nod to Silence of the Lambs.

Not a movie of course but there was a bit of " The Three Stooges " in one scene between characters Lola Cain and Ned Ravine . The scene(s)in between when they kept changing the songs on the stereo to fit the dialogue scenes and Lola talking about her past . It also had an overtone of the movie " Caddy Shack " too . A skunk instead of the gopher ? Especially the scene at the end ( with both movies ) was alot alike - hint - an animal dancing to a hit song theme ? lol This movie was an absolute riot . Just watched it tonight for the very first time . Thanks walrus29 for your subject post .
