One of the longest spoofs was in naming the lead Ned RaVine and making him an attorney. Body Heat had the lead character named Ned RaCine and he was an attorney.

Here are a few more:

The Big Sleep (1978) or anything else with Robert Mitchum- he's the best.

Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, Sleeping with the Emeny, Cape Fear,
Body Heat, probably Doble Indemnity. I'm sure there are more, most
likely cliekly some ld clasic noir movies I've never seen. This
is a great parody!

There are affectionate winks to dozens of films in this movie.

Two of the main dramatic movies this was inspired by are Double Indemnity 1944 (Reiner wanted to call it Triple Indemnity put couldn't get permission) and The Postman Always Rings Twice 1946. And one of the greatest movies similar to those two is Out Of The Past 1947. That's the movie that the big line "Baby, I don't care" (later sung by Elvis Presley) comes from.
