I love Carl Reiner and I think he is a comic genius. I was, however, very disappointed with this movie, finding it unutterably silly and cheesey. It's certainly the most "acting" that Sean Young has ever done, despite her consistent beauty. But what an unfunny movie.

If you think this film isnt funny, i doubt if you have any type of humour at all! That film is a classic, it combines many gaffes & slapstick comedy with excellent performances & a jolly good direction.
Perhaps you need to go see a doctor to check your pulse!

I agree some of the jokes fell flat, but when they hit, they were right on. There were moments in this film that I was laughing so hard I started crying. At least it's better then the regurgitated crappy comedy's that are hitting the theater now.
