Isn't that the guy from The God's Must Be Crazy?
I was sure the bushman was the same guy, but they don't have this movie listed under his name, does anybody know why?

Can't answer your question about why the actor is not properly credited for A Far Off Place. But YES, it's the same fellow from And The Gods Must Be Crazy.
shareAfraid it's not the same guy at all. A Far Off Place - actor Sarel Bok; The Gods Must Be Crazy - actor N!Xau.
Also N!Xau would have been in his fifties when Far Off Place was filmed...
Actually N!Xau would have been in his late 40's when Far off Place was filmed. N!Xau was born in March of 1944. Far off Place was RELEASED in 1993 and filmed in 92. N!Xau died at the age of 59
You are right about the original question though. Sarel Bok is the actor in Far off Place (his only movie) and the 5 different Gods Must Be Crazy movies were the only movies that N!Xau appeared in. (Still not bad for a Son tribesman from the Kalihari)
Maybe its his son from the God Must Be Crazy II, he looks the same as his father and would have been in his 20's at the time of this movie.
shareNo he is not from yhe Gods must be crazy. I know him in person. He is from Harare, Zimbabwe soth eastern surburbs. I was with all cast at the shooting of the movie in 1993 and my group was the Ndebele dancer and i am the dancer you see dancing and one of my former member singing 'ingwe yamabala' (leopard with spots.
He also bears a remarkable resemblance to Gaius Charles who plays Dr. Ross in Grey's Anatomy (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2173080/bio) and almost the right age too.
