For those who love this movie

I have just watched the French version of this movie. This is also the first time I watched it. During the movie, I got stressed on certain parts, but I also got relieved on other parts with humour( great ones). When I finished watching the movie, I found out that for some reasons which I ignore for now, I just love this movie. Now that when I rethink of the main plots of the film, there are not that many, but parts of the movie are so well connected, and finely interpreted by actors and actresses. I usually don't watch romance movies, but this one is excellent. Perhapes some people would say that the first movie we see after weeks of hard work in school is always good, and I must admit this possibility, but this one is different. When I watched it, I felt entertained, I felt relaxed, there are no boring parts that fill up the blank and I felt at the same time sorry for Alexandre's fiancee, and injustice for the heroine, Fanfan. Whereas Alexandre, been a man, I despise his role the most. Otherwise I would love to see reactions of other poeple who love this movie.

Does anyone know where I can find this movie? Ijust love it and I have been trying to find it for a long time. It just occured to me to read these comments and now I see two people got to watch it "on purpose". I'd be really glad if you could help me find it, in DVD or VHS, though I'd ratter get a DVD.
Well, I hope someone can tell me something.

Well, if you speak french and have a region 2 DVD player then go on fnac or virgin.fr, you should be able to order it.
Don't know where you live but i bet they deliver abroad as well.

Very good film indeed.
