Based on the novel which was entirely based on facts. The book is titled 'Sudden Fury' by Leslie Walker. A very tragic story! Although the names have been changed, this event actually happened! I have not seen the tv movie but have done extensive research on the topic since it happened in my old neighborhood on the morning of Jan 17, 1984. The house that the murders happened in is still standing & looks pretty creepy. If you are interested in the story/book, try to get a copy -although it is out of print -it's still available. The high school in the book that Larry- his real name -went to was the high school I went to & I know a few of HIS classmates -one that is a co-worker of mine & another who is an uncle of a friend. Mention Larry (I don't want to say his last name- even though he pasted away recently) to protect his adopted sister who still lives not that far away form the area, to anyone in the Cape St. Claire area that has lived there for the last 30 years or so & they get very quie about the subject. -I don't blame them the Cape is a vey quiet suburb of Annapolis MD & a double homicide even 22 years later has left a scar on the small tight-knit community. Anyone wanting more information on the subject please let me know. I would also like to see about getting a copy of the TV movie if anyone knows how to get one.
