Does it seem like Training Day to anyone

Doesn't anyone else feel that Philip's and Glenn's character are exactly like Denzel and Ethan Hawke in Training Day?

"Oh my God, I think I just shot Marvin in the face"- Pulp Fiction

yeah, now that you mention it. i remember this movie from back in the day, i thought it was awesome.

Pleased to meet you. Hope you guess my name.

No. Training day is strictly about a crooked cop out for self aggrandizement. Extreme Justice is about just that- extreme justice for the worst of the worst in criminals, though some of the team members end up allowing their "absolute" power to corrupt them insomuch as they break the "rules" to get the job done.

glenn's character in TD could easily be the same character from this (if he had been kicked off the force/retired)

Lou Diamond maintains this would have had a major release and be a lot more well known... were it not for the 1992 L.A. riots, at which point the film was pretty much buried (for obvious reasons).

I tend to agree with him.

A shame - more people should have seen / known about this one.

Wait a minute... who am I here?
