Ending.
I fell asleep during this nasty movie -- what happened in the end? Did Joanna Pacula end up blowing up her husband with the explosives? Were there any any people still alive in the coffins? Thanks.

I have never seen the movie available to rent or buy anywhere

My wife picked up this flick at the $1 a videotape close-out sale at Family Video.
The bad guy strapped a bomb to the good guy, but the wife helped transfer the bomb to her husband's groin; then judd nelson and joanna pacula went their separate ways after patrick bauchau was "waisted."
Since the victims were all buried in the same camera-rigged coffin, which judd destroyed before clawing through four inches of dirt to street level, no one was left alive in the ground.
A better question might be, what did bauchau do with the bodies of his first six victims after they suffocated?
Or why not watch the original English-subtitled version of the Vanishing?
