I Heard This Got Booed At The Toronto International Film Festival

I've heard nothing, but bad things about his film which is why I never saw it. I did encounter it on the movie channel once, but quickly changed the channel. To be fair, I should try and watch it one day. Even though it's had bad reviews, I just might end up liking it.

I don't know about booing, but Roger Ebert described a hush coming over the audience as the film unreeled, which he described as "the palpable presence of stunned silence," ha ha.

It's REALLY bad, so beware. And I say this as someone who read and really enjoyed the book; it isn't the material that put me off.
