The rocky film for martial arts. Great movie

This movie is not only great but it's massively underrated. It has everything you want in a movie such as action, drama, romance, history, and a great soundtrack. Jason Scott Lee is stunning as Bruce Lee and the film blends fiction and reality beautifully. This movie has parallels to Rocky such as Bruce coming to America and working as a bust boy, not being treated seriously until he starts unloading on people. He meets a beautiful young woman who becomes his Adrian in this movie and begins his rise to fame as both a martial arts and movie legend. This movie deserves much higher than a 7.0 and I don't understand why anyone would rank this lower than a 7.

You guys should see the marathon I did with Rocky 1,2,3, and Dragon The Bruce Lee Story titled When A Man Fights To Prove Himself. You can check it out on my blog.

The Karate Kid (1984) was the Rocky of Martial Arts, it was even directed by the same director, John G. Avildsen!

That being said, Dragon still is a great biopic of Bruce Lee.

I would say that this is the Chaplin of martial arts movies (except the Robert Downey Jr. movie was significantly longer).
