this movie needs to be remade
This movie was good when i was little but i just watched the other day and i realised it could be alot better. Make the villant more darker and make the movie more serious it could be alot better

I was watching this on cable. Didn't finish it for obvious reasons, but I think it could be re made and get made into a respectable film.
Also made me think that Super Mario Brothers would be awesome if given the Lord of the Rings treatment. No cheesy stuff, but an actual fantasy film. Think of Bowser from the N64 versions, think of the musical score from that game too. A lot of real possibilities if written right.
This movie needs to be unmade.

alot of the martial arts movies based on video didn't turn out well
i mean look at the list of movies based on video games. and i don't mean just martial arts ones either

i think that they were all semi-decent for what they were and for when and how they were made at the time but i think if Double Dragon, Street Fighter 1&2 were remade now they could be better. Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li was worse that the first street fighter and alot of people said that movie was "Crap". None of the character in Legend of Chun-Li were anything like they were supposed to be. the original Sreet Fighter may not have been the greatest movie based based on a video but it was sure as hell alot better than the Legend Crap-Li.
