Poor dramatization

I found this dramatization to be very poor. By contract, the extras on the DVD are superb - the special with the three Dieppe veterans, the special with real footage from the key decision makers etc.. Just seeing the actual cliffs of Dieppe make one think that something is deadly wrong here. What were they thinking of? I have my theories why this TV drama works so poorly, but leave that to another day. It gives Canadian made film a bad rap.

My accountant says, "1 + 1, 40% of the time, equals divorce".
