Abortion is illegal, but so does pregnancy, if you don't have a license

It's amazing how much some people wish for authoritarian government that dictates every part of their life, including the reproduction.

It is not going to happen during your lifetime, most humans need meat to live and survive, the great majority, not just because of different bodies with various conditions not allowing being vegan, but also most climates on Earth, Africa, too Northern or Southern areas on Earth, and so forth. And I am raw vegan mind you, but I'm not ignorant of a great picture, many vegans are blind to, you don't need to pay attention to them. Abortion is the same, most women have more freedom than before to make great changes.

Dude, wrong comment...

That virtual sex part was too weird. I think I would kill myself if the world became the way this movie is. Especially if meat became illegal.

it's heading there already... First wave are self selecting...

Most men just prono themselves instead of having relationships, women vibrator themselves... Virtual Reality sex games and simulations will take it further... Basically sexual pleasure will be entirely computerised/technologised... Within 5 years from now...

Ours is the last generation to consumate one another...

As for meat, people in Europe and in major US cities are already truning vegan, vegetarian or at least eating less animals and meats... It is trendy now... Meat alternatives are in suppermarkets everywhere now... Next step will be propaganda/PR and then meat taxes... This is more of a 10 - 15 year thing as the meat industry i still influencial politically and culturally...

Don't worry... The next 15 - 20 years will have a lot of these changes, but you should still be able to enjoy yourself before it ia changed for good...

I hate the liberal way of thinking. Then again maybe what you say is inevitable. It all comes from people being hardcore atheists.

I think it's possible to be a non-believer and still be a humanist, to recognise what matters to us as human beings, real connection with one another, instead of being mindless consumers and tools of a machine... That's not exactly an enlightened approach... to be a slave of Google, Apple and a VR dildo company, after rejecting god... it's contradictory...

But we can't get there if we beleive in negating ourselves, as is fashionable these days as a kind of pseudo sophistication... A strange nihilism... or alternatively worshiping our individaul selves in a narcissistic celeb/social media way... we live lives alone, only using technology to satisfy our thist for connection...

But yes, believing in god, having a sense of spirituality and communitu that comes with monotheism can be a strong antidote to this self negating behaviour... It's ironic, in that believing in something larger than us, such as god, liberates us from self destruction and being mindless slaves on earth..

Sorry. Just meant that a lot of the vegitarians I know are also atheists. I do hate how a lot of things are digital. Like books. I refuse to get a kindle.

reply

Got it... A couple of my friends have turned vegetarian, so I kniw what you mean...
