I can't say for certain, but I have a strong suspicion that it was this film that got Pierce Brosnan the part of James Bond. Does anybody know for sure - either way?

Absolutely not. Brosnan as Bond was an old thing. He was meant to play Bond in 1987, but his schedural for Remingtonn Steel *beep* that up.

But in 1995 everything fitted. Good call. He was a great Bond.

Aka Detonator. He seems like he was in character to go on and play a middle-of-the-run Bond.
