Made for TV

This one was made for the small screen ---Tv--- and it does seem small in certain ways---small budget, small focus, small vision, small impact.

But Peterson shines in this, as he has in everything I've ever seen him in. Even when the material is beneath him, as it is here, he somehow seems to make it his and run with it.

In this, he tries hard to make this a quality performance, but this movie is so lacking in other ways (dialogue, cinematography, poor accents/actors) that even he can't make it a winner.

I loved the scenery, but it isn't shown to its best advantage here; that small screen, small budget idea I talked about before is probably to blame.

This is odd... Somehow I came across this today - not too long after both of you. Weird. My husband is from Curacao, which is perhaps why I was looking. Very odd.

I had recently seen this movie {low Budget}It looks like it was going to be pilot.for TV.I assume George took the job just get away to the Islands.I am sure he did not do this picture for the money. Maybe the director was his friend. The story line could of been better, The ending was flat, and left you no where.I would rate this movie a B+ and I am being generous in doing so.

Its never a good sign when a movie leaves you scratching your head after you watch it, cause you can't figure out how the plot fits together. If you're not a William Petersen fan (or a fan of any of the actors in the movie), there really isn't anything there. It seems like everything was put together poorly. I.e. Why was the South African guy recruiting him again? Was it to hunt down the brothers? Is it never revealed? And why on Earth would the South African agent just bring himself and his pet machine gun to a confrontation? Ok so maybe he thought it was a "friendly" meeting with Petersen's character but then explain the big ass machine gune he would tug along. In the end...confusing. And the accents. Don't get me started.

Would a Scott's fan enjoy the movie?

I should add I skirmish at any of the moves Scott made after Changeling...

Not sure how you thought this was a pilot, OP.
The profanity and violence alone would make it impossible to show this on US television.

I thought this film was okay. William Peterson and George C. Scott were both good in their roles, but the plodding pace and convoluted plot made it a bit of a chore to sit through.
