Yah, it was probably loosely based on it.
He probably was 25 and had a teenage girl have a mild crush on him. Flirting, calling him, showing up at his house, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if it was fairly innocent and maybe a kiss occurred but probably nothing more.
All the bee and psycho stuff was probably fictional, but he certainly got the inspiration for this through his life experience.
Or he banged the daughter next door and she went crazeballs.... who knows lol.
