has the world gone mad!!

Just a quick point people!

i first saw this movie when i was about 10. i thought it was great at the time.

a job well done by the cast and crew, as it was aimed at about my age
group.

having seen this movie again when i was 20, i found it to be terrible,
BUT it isn't aimed at 20 year olds.

my point is that females under 18 give this movie ave. rating of 7.0.

so please don't drag it into the bottom #150 if you are a mature adult,
because this movie was clearly not meant for you.

The thing is though that regardless of how old you are, you can spot a good kid's film. I can acknowledge that My Neighbour Totoro is a great kids film despite the fact I'm 28.

Age has nothing to do with how much this film sucks. It just does.

reply

I remember I enjoyed it a lot as a child...so I guess you can't spot a good kid's film as well as you think.

reply

I enjoyed it as a kid. I really liked it. I recently saw it, and it was still ok. The movie is not as bad as you might think.

I just saw this movie today on Starz Comedy and liked it. I didn't laugh, but it has a good story. It's heartwarming. It's a good movie, but could've been better if they worked on it and tried a little harder. It's not bad for a movie aimed towards kids. Even though I'm 15, I still watch movies that are for kids. What I liked best about is how the boy Devon was all back talking, sassy, spunky, feisty, huffy, spicy, and had a lot of attitude and I like movies like that. You know, there isn't very many kids movies like that. I think there are now, but none comes to mind. The last movie I've seen that had kids with attitude was Problem Child and Problem Child 2. I think this movie should at least deserve a 6 out of 10.

man, i gotta like it. my uncle plays a reporter in it! all they really did was go to the local station and ask who was free that night and who wanted to make a few bucks.

reply

yeah, i loved this movie when i was younger, and no you can't spot a good kids film as an adult, and anybody who thinks they can are retarded, because what makes something fun for kids is totally different than what makes things fun for adults... Look if your not a kid stay away from it, i don't watch sponge bob square pants so then i don't have to comment on how bad it sucks.

People who bash this movie:

1 - Think Godfather is the best movie ever
2 - Take IMDB seriously
3 - Enjoys arthouse movies.

This movie is for the cult that is US!

reply

I loved the film as a kid, still quite fond of even now, can't believe the ratng it has on IMDb though, there are movies rated higher that DESERVED worse ratings.

What kind of loser begs other people to not drag a movie down in the IMDB ratings? How does it affect your life? holy crap.

I was 13 when I saw it and found it absolutely detestable. I have always had high standards when it comes to cinematic art.
