Janine Turner is so incredibly HOT in this film, I wonder how all that snow stayed frozen around her. The word "stunning" does not do her justice; she is absolutely off the scale here.

The haircut played a big part, in my opinion. It clearly was under the influence of Ghost Demi Moore. I saw her in another movie with long hair a few years later, and I didn't find her as appealing. Still beautiful, but not as appealing as in Cliffhanger.

To me, while she's always quite lovely, the attractiveness of Ms. Turner varies depending on how she's being photographed. Well, in the scene between her and Sly, just before the rescue starts, there are some full-frame facial shots of her that are absolute perfection.

She was gorgeous in this, especially for being over 30 at the time. I'm surprised she didn't leave more of a mark in Hollywood.

I do think part of how gorgeous she is in Cliffhanger is due to the lighting skill of the cinematographer/DP and his crew. She never looked this good in anything else.
