Quentin Tarantino

I just saw this today. I loved the movie and Peter Greene's performance. I was wondering if anyone had thought about this. There are some scenes where Peter is hearing voices, which I didn't get where they were from ( jail or hospital or elsewhere). But the voice and speech flow reminded me of Marcellus Wallace talking to Zed (pulp fiction) after being raped. Zed is of course played by Peter. Feels like one of those Quentin Tarantino movie references in his movies. Buller? Buller? Anybody?

I picked up on that too. The origin of the voices (in terms of why Peter was hearing them and where they came from) is ambiguous; it could have been something he heard while at the mental hospital, could've been something he saw on TV, etc.

Yeah.

To me it seemed like it was from a "Scared Straight" type of program, where inmates try and intimidate juvenile delinquents with the prospect of going to jail.

I thought he looked familiar. I love to make connections between films like that. Thanks for the heads up.
