I love Dukakis,Kazan, and enjoy their roles in this film; Life does have ups and downs, and we need friends and family to help ease the pain of those sticky situations. Doris & Selma are tried and true friends who are there for each other.
Doris: You don't call losing your husband a bummer
It's a very good movie, with fine performances by Ellen Burstyn and Olympia Dukakis. I bought it in a thrift store for $2, and it was money well spent. It would appeal to fans of "The Golden Girls" or, more recently, "Boynton Beach Bereavement Club."

You've probably found your answer by now, but indeed it is available on DVD, and it's definitely worthwhile!

I found it for $2 at Target today and watched it tonight. It was good - mildly depressing, but heartwarming and true to life. I enjoyed it very much. =)
"New York, this is your last chance."
Yeah, depressing at times, but it was a good movie :) Haven't watched it in awhile.
Come on, Franklin! It'll be a fun trip!
