Why does this version get aired alllll the time?

Looking at cable listings on and off for the past few years.
I've noticed this version of the Fisher/Buttafucco story gets aired every time. I would expect to see the one with Drew Barrymore in it a lot more (since she is more famous).

It must the effect of that tight little Milano package that gets this lie of a film the thumbs up for airing.

I wonder this also. It's the version where Joey is innocent and Amy is a nutjob who imagines the relationship. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Drew more famous than Alyssa? Not for me. They are equal to me I have followed them both since we were kids.

I would too, anyone know where you can even watch the other two? It's like 'true tabloid stories' week on Lifetime Movie Network (I know, eck) and I was hoping they'd air all three movies today, but they only aired this one. I was happy as I'd never seen this before, but still.

As a Long Islander, I thought that Noelle Parker "got" Amy right. She was the most believable Amy to me.

But "Casualties" was a soppy mess.

The Noelle Parker movie is the best and most realistic one. The thing I like about this movie is that it shows more of Mary Jo. The other two movies don't get into what she must have gone through the way this one does. I look at it as this is probably how things might have looked to her when it was going on--and Alyssa Milano's always fun to watch.

I've wondered the same thing. This one is shown several times a year while I never see the Noelle Parker or Drew Barrymore versions, both of which I would like to watch again. Indeed, I would like to see more of Noelle Parker period.
