This film didn't stop people from being fans of Poseurs
I remember when this movie came out back in the 90s. I knew A LOT of kids that were trying to act all hardcore and stuff, there were so many poseur gangstas back then. Probably even more then today.
Anyway, I know many of them saw this movie and I remember them saying how they laughed, but having this movie hold up a mirror and show them who they were didn't really put a dent in anything. The same people kept going on listening to the same poseur gangsta rappers and still being the same poseurs as they were before.
