Extended Director's Cut

In the trailer for this, there's a scene that didn't appear in the movie of Phil Hartman holding a gun to Chris Rock. Since the plot involving Hartman is sloppily abandoned in the final film, I'm presuming this movie was mutilated in the editing room. Has anybody ever heard the story of the final edit and if there's a possibility of a director's cut existing? Since we're living in a time of long lost director's cut blu-rays, I don't think it's too far fetched that even CB4 might have one.
