Did Sonny know C was in that car?
It was stolen and C did not even recognize it.
Probably just a plot hole
shareofcourse he knew. they were having a beef over bomb in car, c left the scene in same direction as other guys. so, probably sonny think things over, heard those guys plans, and went after him to safe him. they saw a stolen car, when they arrived.
He leave those guys to go on their way, and let things be although he knew there was gone be troubles and he could of stop them. but they were troubles for the neighburhood. he was correct when he said that half of them will die.
