In real life the Hells Angels would have won that brawl in the Mafia bar

That scene in the movie is pretty far fetched. I know Mob guys are supposed to be tough, but there is little chance that a chubby, middle aged Italian guy can beat a Hells Angel in a straight up fist fight. The Mafia easily intimidates law abiding citizens, but not other criminals. Strip them of their guns, and they lose a lot of their toughness.

Take John Gotti, for example. Can you name a Mafia guy with a more fearsome reputation than him? He insulted a black prisoner in Marion, Illinois in 1996, and the black guy beat him to a pulp. Without his gun, Gotti was practically defenseless against a powerful black man who knows how to use his fists.

There tops said Satan's messengers, maybe they're not that big a gang or worse are just normal guys who act like criminal bikers.

The bikers got a few punches in and you can see a biker bottle mafia guy in background. The mafia guys had bats and one clearly had a pistol plus it appeared to me that they outnumbered the bikers.

Do you have any idea how powerful the mafia was in the 50/60s, even into the 70s? They ran the entire high-end criminal world, along with substantial parts of the legit world in politics and business. If a genovese capo said a bunch of biker trash had to go- they would all be whacked in the week.

And the mob had more than their fair share of tough guys. In the movie they needed some fat dumpy actors. But in real life there were all kind of dudes involved with the mob and more often than not, they knew how to fight. Id put Tony Spilotro up against any biker. The dude was an ass kicker.

Some biker "gangs" are actually large criminal organizations that rival the Mafia.

That scene is hilarious because it's completely lifted from a Kenny Rogers song called coward of the county.

It borrows the idea of locking the door, but that's about it. I don't think ol' Brewster Baker would mind.

Don't know if they would have won, but they would have definitely come back. I was surprised they never tried to get revenge.

Hells Angels must have had the muscles, but the mob had the power. They had everything from the law to ordinary citizens under control. take example Chapo Guzman in Mexico. even the biggest Mexicans gangs won't go near him.

Back then the Mob/Mafia would have done way worse than what you seen to those bikers in real life... Biker gangs are huge and some are just as dangerous but that means nothing when tackling the Mafia... Death is the only option with the Mob on top.
