Saw it on TV

So it was Saturday afternoon, had nothing to do, was flippin the channels and I see Teri Hatcher, thought maybe it was Tango and Cash but no it was this movie. And I have to say it was like a car wreck I couldn't look away despite the fact that it was horrid. This movie is so bad, even for a comedy action movie this is just vomit.

Knight's of Colombus that hurt!!!

I disagree. First, this was much better than Tango and Cash, which for a semi large action movie was pretty terrible. Second, this film was made on a shoe string budget, which is pretty obvious, but it has a certain charm about it.

Teri Hatcher is absolutely stunning in this movie, as well as pretty good acting on her part. Andrew Clay is good as well, very likable unlike some of his work and comedy routine (which i'm not against, he just doesn't come across very well), and to top it all off, it has a terrific soundtrack with songs by Madelyn Von Ritz which are incredible!

Now this is by no means an oscar worthy movie, but for me it's a guilty pleasure and i really wish it would get released on DVD so I could at least listen to these songs by Von Ritz more often (i currently have it recorded on my DVR).

I was a huge fan of this movie for the same reason. I also loved Ford Fairlane for the same reasons. I'm not sure about the whole Von Ritz thing but I did find the movie charming in a way.

So many *******...so few bullets..
Ford Fairlane

Agreed! If nothing else, a young Teri Hatcher sets the screen on fire as all hot legs in thigh high boots. Smoking hot!

I remember see this movie on HBO in the early 90's. It's the type of movie that will wanting you more. I saw the very same line in the movie saying We are not ninjas and then the lady punch him and says my sister says you're ninjas then you are ninjas. That movie made me laugh towards the end of the movie when the ninja face gets mash up when the Diceman hits him then he eats the flower that made me laugh. I wish they put this on DVD in widescreen format not a fullscreen.

I saw this about four or five years ago. I didnt recognize the title here at first cuz it as shown under one of it's "aka" titles when I saw it. "The Bouncer and the Model" or something like that. It was bad in only a way an Albert Pyun movie could be but I still enjoyed it. Especially the scene where Dice is argueing with his parents. Hilarious.

For those of you whom are interested...Brain Smasher ...A Love Story is on DVD!
Well if you have a region free dvd player you can order it from Amazon. UK.
I've been waiting for it to be released on dvd here in the states but as of yet it hasn't. After the success of Desperate Housewives, I thought for sure it would get a U.S. release but no dice! For fans of Teri Hatcher looking (IMOP)her very best this is one to have!
