She seems to have received terrible advice…or not heeded good advice - During the peak of her personal fame (1989 -1994) she decided to get “picky” about her choice of roles. Had she been a better actor or been involved in a successful film franchise, this would be understandable. However, as one the “pack” she really should have taken almost any train leaving the station when it came to work. She also should have not heeded the advice she received to take the wretched Boxing Helena which is unique in the it also damaged Kim Basinger’s career by even becoming involved with it. Ms. Fenn either received very poor counsel; or she simply didn’t listen to good counsel when she received it.
