I watched a bit of it again last night, to see if it really was a bad as I remembered. Answer: Yes. Hopefully, Madonna has decided to bow out of acting now that she and Guy Ritchie are divorced. With the exception of "Desparately Seeking Susan," she has been horrible in everything she's been in.
It's quite funny if you watch the first sex scene, there's a wide shot when Dafoe is chasing Madonna up some stairs, and if you look carefully, you can clearly see that Dafoe is, um, "overexcited" about filming this scene with Madonna.
