Phobia of sleep?

Yes its just a movie and its over and all but if a person (like the main character in this movie) somehow survived and escaped and warned the world AND the aliens were defeated and the danger was over wouldn't that person have PTSD and for the rest of their lives be afraid to sleep? Have major insomnia? Search their home thoroughly for pods even if the pods are all dead (irrational fear).

In the novelization of the original story the main hero DOES win and as soon as he has destroyed all the pods he goes to bed for some much needed sleep and he is HAPPY that he gets to finally go to sleep, me I would STILL be afraid....

And instead of getting body snatched i would have NIGHTMARES about it all night, I might never have a GOOD night sleep again.
