better than any episode of the series I ever watched

I just watched this movie, and I honestly thought it was better than any episode of the series. Probably because in the movie they get right to the point and Serena/Usagi is portrayed as a more serious protagonist.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think I prefer it undubbed with the original Japanese audio, especially the song Moon Revenge. But my eyesight isn't what it used to be, which is why I normally avoid watching movies that are subtitled.

The story is pretty simple. Alien menace threatens Earth. Sailor Scouts stop it. What I loved about it though was how the characters and relationships were portrayed, and how they acknowledged that Serena/Usagi brought all the scouts together. The subplot with Darien/Mamoru and his childhood friend was also very well done.

Also, best song and ending ever!
