Read Bedlam by Harry Adam Knight
It is a fantastic story. It's curious, none of the cosmic ramifications were even indicated in the movie. I really recommend this novel to any horror fans out there.

No, unfortunately not. The movie is only slightly similar to the novel, and use the term "slightly" with emphasis.
