Jethro had a football stadium sub delivered. Did subway make sandwiches like that once?

shareI haven't seen this film, and this is an old post, but how large was it? I once worked for a sandwich shop which made a six foot long sub. The bun was actually baked at that size. While we normally cut it up into single servings, that wasn't required. If the customer wanted it whole, we delivered it whole.

Yeah, that looks pretty much like the boxes we used. The company I worked for wasn't Subway. (I'm not even sure it exists anymore. This was over 40 years ago.)
So, the answer is it was certainly possible.
