That moment where Lorette (spelling?) and Jed are dancing to Hank Williams was such an awesome moment. Not so much for the story or the characters but the actors themselves just seemed to be so into it and into each other. It was such a tender moment between the two and I loved it.
shareI agree. Miss Laurette was a good manipulator and Jed, thinking she was perfect for him, fell into her trap. "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" was kind of a strange song for them to "fall in love" to though haha. Jim Varney and Lea Thompson had really good chemistry together and I think that particular scene did a good job of showing that.
