Where is the mansion located?!?

Is this by chance the same Mansion used in the tv series? I am pretty sure it isn't...but does anyone have any idea where this would have been? Thanks!

I found the address in another thread. It's not the same as the one in the tv series, that one is in Beverly Hills. But the address for the one in the movie is:
1288 South Oakland Ave.
Pasadena, CA 91106

It was painted white when I lived in Pasadena, but was photoshopped to be PINK
in the film. It's still an impressive place last time I saw it, painted in
earthtones now for the ol' Tuscany treatmen.

"Could be worse."
"Howwww?"
"Could be raining."

wait.... it was pink on purpose?? that was always the one thing that confused me the most about this movie. i just figured they couldnt find any other mansion owner to agree to have the movie filmed there.

the one on the show wasnt pink was it? i never watched the color episodes(they just werent as funny after they went to color, all that boring crap about jethro being a movie star, ditto with andy griffith)

The mansion from the TV series is located in Bel Air.

I think the one used in the TV series has since been torn down.

It's not been torn down, but totally remodeled. I read somewhere that they redid the foundation etc... But now it doesn't resemble the original house, I believe the owner has bought the neighboring houses as well. BTW if you want to see the original house, go on YouTube, there is a jerry Lewis movie that uses it. Cinderfella, I think, it show the inside of the house as well.

I just saw this movie earlier this morning. I love the house featured in it. Sadly that house burned down in '98 and the house that everyone sees now is the one that was rebuilt and not the original.
