...thinks he is sexy as hell as Jed Clampett? So much so, it is a distraction and a bad casting choice IMO. Not to impune Jim Varney, but I think someone older, slightly out of shape, and rougher features would have been better.
shareI just got on this board to say the same thing! So sexy, and the scene when he is slow dancing to "So Lonesome I Could Cry" is great...the best scene in the movie. I agree, he was not a "Jed," as the original, but there were so many things wrong with this movie, that was the least of it...lol. Just love to see Jim Varney sexy as hell!
shareI agree he was not at all like jed. In fact he looked really different from Jed to the point I wasn't even sure why they got him. Movie was fine though for the most part.
