She did justice to the role of Granny! Her comedic timing was excellent, and she stole every scene she was in. Shame this film adaptation is so underappeciated...
shareI thought she was good, but I thought she was a lot weaker and more fragile-acting that the original Granny. Leechman almost reminded me of a Grandma Walton type as opposed to full-of-energy Irene Ryan's portrayl of Granny.
