Joon, Bare feet, Wearing Shoes

I'm really puzzled by Joon. When she's outside, she's often bare feet; when she's in bed, ready to sleep, she has socks and shoes on. What puzzles me even more is her brother allows her to put her fully equipped feet under the quilt.
