Hat sequence inspired from some Keaton movie?

The scene where Sam performs tricks (the one with the hat and somersaults etc.) in a park.. is it based on any scene from a Buster Keaton movie?
Could you suggest any Keaton movie? I've only seen the General.

That scene and the "dancing" rolls in the diner were inspired by Charlie Chaplin. "The Tramp" featured the hat schticks and in "The Gold Rush," Chaplin used potatoes in place of the rolls.

And now for something completely different...

I found some similarities with "The Haunted House" and the backflips reminded me of a short Buster did with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle called "Coney Island".
If you want to start watching Keaton movies I would suggest "Our hospitality"(1923) and "Steamboat Bill, Jr." (1928). Some of my favourite shorts: One week, Neighbors, The Paleface, Seven Chances, My Wife's Relations.
Hope that helps :)

Don't forget Sherlock, Jr. It several genius-level stunts.
